Alba by Welcome Design at Miad Fair
Alba by Welcome Design
Miad Fair 2025
Alba is the chromatic pulse of light that explores the relationship between lighting and matter through reflections and shadows that evolve with the environment.
Each material has been carefully selected to enhance these effects: floor and wall coverings, metal lattices, printed textiles, vegetation and furniture interact with the light, generating nuances that change according to perspective and light intensity. Alba is not a static space, but a stage in constant dialogue.
We accompanied the Welcome Design studio’s proposal at the MIAD 2025 fair with preserved natural vertical gardens in which we experimented with color, shapes and impossible reliefs. We also filled the planters of GANDIABLASCO S.A. with more colorful preserved nature and presented pieces from the new ALBUFERA collection by Rafa Ortega in ochre tones.
Thank you Welcome Design team for creating magic in this space for the MIAD 2025 fair and trusting in our plant creativity to incorporate aromas, sensations, emotions… wellbeing.

Welcome Indoor Creatures
Welcome Indoor Creatures
Madrid Design Festival
It is not AI. It is our plant-based craftsmanship that has transformed ACTIU’s QYOS acoustic booth, designed by WANNA, into a biophilic sanctuary for the indoor creatures we humans have become, as we now spend more than 90% of our time enclosed within four walls.
Design has the power to create healthy spaces, and nature adds an emotional touch through scents, colors, and sensations that transport us to our personal haven of well-being—that place or memory that brings us peace, serenity, and focus.
This experiential installation was showcased at #FiestaDesign as part of the Madrid Design Festival program at ILE.
An intervention where we demonstrated the possibilities of our preserved plant-based decoration—not only to recreate the wildest aspects of nature and explore new ways to integrate it through innovation and product design but also through our OTOgreen sound-absorbing panels, designed by RAFA ORTEGA.
Nature Experience
Nature Experience
Feria Hábitat Valencia
From the serenity that comes from contemplating the beauty of the landscape, the legacy of tradition in contemporary craftsmanship, or the purest essence that drives us towards changes to build the future we need… Our Nature Experience space at Feria Hábitat Valencia 2024 highlights the value of spaces designed by people, for people—spaces that, despite being ephemeral, aim to remain in eternal memory, while generating the least impact through recycled and recyclable materials, reusable structures…
A space designed by Greenarea alongside architect Anna Ferrer, from CU4arquitectura, specializing in biophilic design and WELL certification, where a sensory journey was proposed to experience the potential of biophilic design to coexist, care for, and regenerate… creating spaces committed to both people and the planet, harmoniously integrating nature, humans, and cultures.
In this space at Feria Hábitat Valencia 2024, we also presented new collections designed by Rafa Ortega, where our preserved plant creativity—moss, plants, or lichen—merges with a material made from residual cellulose fibers certified with Cradle to Cradle Gold. VARETA highlights craftsmanship in cladding formed by panels that draw organic geometries through impossible curves and volumes. ALBUFERA appeals to the value of the landscape in tiles that function as artistic pieces or infinite compositions reminiscent of rice fields seen from above.
In the configuration of the Nature Experience space, Greenarea collaborated with major companies that helped bring the desired emotions and sensations to life. Among the participating brands were Honext (upcycled wall cladding and Vareta/Albufera material), Sikkens (wall paint enamel), ECOcero (ceiling cladding with ECOpanel), Onok Lighting (technical lighting and exterior scene circadian programming), Bang & Olufsen and Kompendio (sound system with Beoplay A9 & Beosound Bollard speakers), Softrock (handmade rock-shaped pouf furniture), Blackcork (natural cork furniture by designer Toni Grilo, CUT/DOMMO/OMEGA collections), Equipo DRT (Moon flame-retardant fabric curtains), Chimeneas Lumbre (electric vapor fireplace), GAN (Inma Berbúdez carpet), and Grupo STB (stand installation with reusable metal structure).
Thank you to everyone who visited our Nature Experience space at Feria Hábitat Valencia. We are very happy that we were able to make you feel a little better after the journey. Let’s continue working together for the well-being of people and the health of habitats. We are all nature.

Barcelona
The new showroom in Barcelona of Forma 5 and esPattio, specialized in office furniture and soft seating, shows in its product exhibition the possibilities of preserved natural plant decoration to connect work spaces with well-being.
Greenarea has worked on plant compositions tailored to the design proposed by Jorge Herrera Studio for this showroom where the preserved natural vegetation provides sensations, aromas and emotions that also help transmit the brand values.
Among the creations, a tree made with preserved natural vegetation and a natural trunk stands out, welcoming you at the entrance to the showroom.
The tour also integrates different plant compositions that merge with materials such as clay and mud in different structures and coatings, as well as preserved natural plants in different sizes.
In addition, the walls of the space are also dressed with a vertical garden with preserved natural vegetation with a Moss&Plants Mid finish and other decorative solutions with artificial plants with our Gretthel signature.

ARCOmadrid 2024
Madrid
Boundless plant creativity to fill some of the communal areas of the 43rd edition of the ARCOmadrid 2024 Fair with sensations and wellbeing, designed by the Pedro Pitarch studio in the Food Court restaurant area and in the First Collector room.
A unique experience where we explored new biophilic solutions to generate an organic dialogue between art, architecture, people and nature.
In Pavilion 9 we transformed the walls of the First Collector room of the Santander Foundation into canvases of inspiration and wellbeing through custom-made vertical gardens finished in preserved mosses, 100% natural with no irrigation or maintenance. A decorative concept that goes beyond aesthetics, providing unique sensations together with the benefits of being connected to nature.
In the Food Court restaurant area, we erected plant islands with preserved mosses and plants of different heights to introduce touches of nature among the Isimar furniture.
These installations were carried out with the support of Grupo Sertebra, specialised in installations in Madrid.
