It is not AI. It is our plant-based craftsmanship that has transformed ACTIU’s QYOS acoustic booth, designed by WANNA, into a biophilic sanctuary for the indoor creatures we humans have become, as we now spend more than 90% of our time enclosed within four walls.

Design has the power to create healthy spaces, and nature adds an emotional touch through scents, colors, and sensations that transport us to our personal haven of well-being—that place or memory that brings us peace, serenity, and focus.

An intervention where we demonstrated the possibilities of our preserved plant-based decoration—not only to recreate the wildest aspects of nature and explore new ways to integrate it through innovation and product design but also through our OTOgreen sound-absorbing panels, designed by RAFA ORTEGA.

Welcome Indoor Creatures is an experiential installation that was first seen at #FiestaDesign as part of the Madrid Design Festival 2025 program at ILE, but it will now travel to other cities and countries. In May, it will be part of Clerkenwell Design Week in London, and in September, it will move to the Actiu showroom during Paris Design Week.

The Qyos Actiu acoustic booth is an example of how co-creation and a commitment to finding comprehensive solutions to improve people’s well-being can shape flexible, biophilic microarchitectures that transform spaces into unique restorative experiences.
