For yet another year, Milan was turned into the design world capital on the occasion of the 56th edition of the Salone del Mobile, from 4th to 9th of April. Greenarea couldn’t have missed this must-attend event!

Hosted by the company Colección Alexandra, with which we had already collaborated on a number of different occasions, our green ideas were presented especially for this event with a stabilized vertical garden – the installation of which brought a touch of natural freshness into the company’s booth – and the possibility to consult our recently released mini-catalogue including our newest green decor items, with a range of live or stabilized natural plants to design unique cheerful environments, both for indoors and outdoors.

The inspiration for the design of our vertical garden was provided by the DNA strands. We wanted our vegetation to coat both the booth wall and ceiling with its green hues and come alive in the space. With our ‘moss&plants mid’ we created a green backdrop, against which we used stabilized flowers of different shades of blue to obtain the visual effect of chromosomes. More flowers also hung down from the ceiling, in line with the latest green decor trends. The overall result was a graceful greenwall that suited the furniture company’s style and booth atmosphere beautifully.

These have been very hectic days in Milan, with the world’s top brands – amongst which more than 50 coming from Spain – presenting their own brand-new products not only at the ‘Salone’ but also at parallel exhibits and the Milan Design Week events, thus setting the next trends in furnishings, interior lighting and design.

We would like to thank all the visitors who stopped by booth H3/G30 and showed interest in our newest green decor items, proudly presented under our usual ‘Made in Spain’ seal. We are likewise very pleased to add that this edition was made even more special as our friends of Colección Alexandra received a special mention in recognition of their 20th participation as exhibitor in one of the world’s most important interior design shows.
